DESCRIPTION

Since 2016, starting with a redesign, we have been designing the annually published Archaeological News. These provide an insight into archaeological excavations and events in Schleswig-Hostein.

The goal of the 2022 edition was to demonstrate how analog content can be supported by digital extensions. In context of this, we developed two mobile websites based on 3D data that make archaeology an tangible experience. One mobile extension deals with the reconstruction of a shipwreck on Süderoogsand and another with an excavation plan on the island of Amrum.

Since 2016, starting with a redesign, we have been designing the annually published around 200-page Archaeological News. These provide an insight into archaeological excavations and events in Schleswig-Hostein.

The design focus is to transform the rather outdated visual presentation in this field of science into a modern and contemporary one and to create a uniform, yet individual look for each issue.
