DESCRIPTION
In the metropolitan region of Hamburg an unique combination of two optical super lasers and the X-ray laser, European XFEL, enables unprecedented insights into states like ultra-high temperatures, unimaginable pressure, enormous energies, which for example appears inside stars and planets. It opens up a broad spectrum of essential scientific questions and basic research with highpotential for innovative applications in medicine and future technologies.
